Republican Debates

As soon as we got our direct TV hooked up, my husband was figuring out what all the news channels were. He is so obsessed with these republican debates that are on TV right now. Every night that they come on, he wants to watch every minute of theme! What kills me about the debate is that they air for an hour or two and they spend the first 30 minutes explaining the “rules” and doing introductions. It's like, we get it...we know who these people are! After I have to sit through the debate with him, then he wants to discuss each and everything that they said throughout the debate. Of course he has his favorite and he basically just spends the whole conversation telling me how what that guy said is the best thing and what all the other people said is the worst thing! I just listen, smile, and nod. One night I asked him why we always watch the republican debates but I never hear about any democratic debates. He thought that was pretty hilarious! He then explained that Obama will be running again, so there doesn't need to be any debates.
